Aloo Pyaz Ke Pakore

Aloo Pyaz Ke Pakore is very popular Indian snack.It is very easy and simple recipe. It is very tasty and delicious.I make the pakora for evening tea.




Ingredients:

  • Gram flour - 200 gms.
  • Potato - 4 small size 
  • Onion - 1 medium size
  • Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - 3 tbsp (chopped)
  • Green chillies - 4
  • Cumin seeds - 2 tsp
  • Hing - 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil -  to deep fry

Method:

  1. Peel the potatoes and then cut in thin small sizes.
  2. Finely chop the onions,green chillies, coriander leaves.
  3. Take the gram flour, water, salt, hing, coriander powder and red chili powder in a large bowl and mix well. The batter should not be too thin.
  4. Add the potatoes, onions,green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds  in batter. Mix well.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and take small portions of the batter by hand or a spoon and put it in the hot oil.
  6. Deep fry the pakoras until they turn deep brown in colour. 
  7. Now take them out on a plate and prepare more pakoras follow the process till the batter finishes.
  8. Serve them with tomato ketchup, coriander chutney and tea.
