Til Ladoo


This is a traditional winter dessert and especially made for Sakat Chauth, Makar Sankranti and Lohri. This is very healthy and nutritious dessert. It is very easy and delicious dessert made with Til. Ghee and Gur.





Ingredients:

  • Sesame seeds (Til) - 1 cup
  • Jaggery ( gur) -  3/4 cup
  • Ghee - 2 tbsp

Method :

  1. Dry roast the sesame seeds in a heavy pan om medium flame stirring continuously till they are turn into light golden color.
  2. Take out the roasted sesame seeds in a plate and keep aside.
  3. Heat the ghee in a pan and break off jaggery into small pieces.
  4. Add the jaggery and melt jaggery on a low flame.
  5. When jaggery becomes thick then turn off the flame.
  6. Add the roasted sesame seeds and mix well.
  7. Grease your palms. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into lemon sized ball.
  8. Store the air tight container for 10 days.
