                                                                   Carrot Raita Recipe

Carrot Raita is a very popular recipe.It is very healthy, tasty, crunchy, colorful and delicious dish. Carrot  raita is a very simple dish.




Ingredients:


  • Curd / Yogurt - 2 cup
  • Carrot grated - 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp finely chopped
  • Chat Masala powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Green Chillies - 1 chopped                              
  • Roasted cumin seed powder - 1/4 tsp


Method:

  1. Rinse carrots, Peel the skins, Chop the hard ends and grate them using a grater, Set aside.
  2. Take curd into a bowl and add roasted cumin seed powder, chat Masala powder, salt, green Chillies.
  3. Whisk them until curd turns smooth.You can add some water as required.
  4. Than add carrot and coriander leaves and mix well. 
  5. Keep in refrigerator and serve chilled along with parathas.

Notes:


  1. If you do not like crunchy carrots then Steam greated carrots for 2-3 minutes and squeeze carrot to extract liquid.
  2. Then add into the curd.
