Carrot Raita Recipe
Carrot Raita is a very popular recipe.It is very healthy, tasty, crunchy, colorful and delicious dish. Carrot raita is a very simple dish.
Ingredients:
- Curd / Yogurt - 2 cup
- Carrot grated - 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp finely chopped
- Chat Masala powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Green Chillies - 1 chopped
- Roasted cumin seed powder - 1/4 tsp
Method:
- Rinse carrots, Peel the skins, Chop the hard ends and grate them using a grater, Set aside.
- Take curd into a bowl and add roasted cumin seed powder, chat Masala powder, salt, green Chillies.
- Whisk them until curd turns smooth.You can add some water as required.
- Than add carrot and coriander leaves and mix well.
- Keep in refrigerator and serve chilled along with parathas.
Notes:
- If you do not like crunchy carrots then Steam greated carrots for 2-3 minutes and squeeze carrot to extract liquid.
- Then add into the curd.
