Peanut Garlic Chutney

                                                 Peanut Garlic Chutney

Peanut Garlic Chutney is a dry chutney for making vada pavs epically. This chutney comes from Mumbai.Its flavour is very delicious and spicy.It is prepared by roasted peanuts, roasted garlic and cumin seeds, red chilli powder and coriander powder.

Ingredients:


  • Roasted Peanuts – 1/2 cups
  • Garlic cloves – 15 chop roughly
  • Red chilli powder – 2 tsp 
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Dry coconut powder – 1 cup
  • Sesame seeds (white) – 1/4 cup
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil - 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan and roast cumin seeds and garlic cloves to a light brown color and let it be in a plate.
  2. Dry roast the sesame seeds in same pan on a low flame till turn light brown color and let it be in plate.
  3. Dry roast grated coconut on a low flame till turn light brown color.
  4. Then let all roasted Ingredients cool completely before grinding.
  5. After cooling, put the roasted peanuts, roasted garlic and cumin seeds, roasted coconut and sesame seeds, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt in grinder jar and grind to a coarse powder.
  6. Chutney is ready and let it be in the bowl.
  7. Store in a sealed container.
  8. Use it with vada pav, bread, sprinkle over rice and sandwich.
