Bread pakora recipe is a very popular, easy and quick recipe. It is a breakfast and evening snack recipe. There are two different ways of making bread pakora, one is plain bread pakora and other is stuffed bread pakora. Today we will make plain bread pakora. It is crispy and delicious.
Ingredients:
- Gram Flour – 3 cups
- Brown or white bread Slices – 5 - 6
- Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1/4 tsp
- Ajwain (carom seeds)/ jeera – 1/4 tsp
- Hing - a pinch
- Oil – to fry
- Salt - to taste
- Water - for batter
Method:
- Take a bowl, add besan, hing, red chilli powder, salt, coriander powder, ajwain and mix well.
- Add little bit of water slowly to make a thick batter.
- Cut off the edges of the bread and cut them into any shape like rectangular, square, triangle or circular.
- Heat oil in a pan and dip bread piece in the batter and fry till bread pakoras turn brown over medium flame.
- Drain on a tissue or napkin paper on the plate.
- Serve bread pakora with green chutney and tomato sauce.
