Sev Puri Recipe
Sev Puri a popular street food of Mumbai. It is very simple and tasty snacks recipe. This is the one of my favourite snack. I have made a large amount of papdi or puri and store it. When i want to eat sev puri or papdi chat then i use papdi who prepared already. I oftenly take papdi with tea. Let's make sev puri. Firstly we make puri or papdi for sev puri.

When i want to eat sev puri or papdi chat then i use papdi who prepared already. I oftenly take papdi with tea. Let's make sev puri. Firstly we make puri or papdi for sev puri.
Ingredients for puri:
- Maida - 1 cup
- Rawa - 1 tsp
- Ghee - 2 tsp
- Ajwain (Carmon seeds) - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for deep frying
- Water - for dough
Method:
- Take a bowl and add maida, rawa, ghee, ajwain, cumin seeds ,salt and mix well.
- Add little bit of water slowly to knead into a stiff and smooth dough.
- Apply oil and cover the dough and keep it aside for a 15 min.
- Take a big part of the dough and make a big round shape with the rolling pin.
- Roll should be very thin and cut into small rounds using a round pastry cutter or bottle cap. Use a fork to pierce a few holes around.
- Heat oil and fry the papdi over medium flame till color turns a bit of light yellow.
- Drain the papdi on absorbent paper.
- After it cools down,store it in air tight container.
- Use the papdi for Sev Puri 's and Papdi Chat.
Sev Puri Recipe
Ingredients:
- Crispy Puri - 8-10
- Sev - 1/2 cup
- Potato boiled and cubed - 1
- Onion - 1/2, finely chopped
- Tomato - 1/2 finely chopped
- Sweet chutney - 2-3 tsp
- Green chutney - 2-3 tsp
- Coriander leaves - 1 tblsp finely chopped
- Chat masala - 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Method:
- Arrange the papdis on a serving plate.
- Top each papdi with a little potato and tomato.
- Add tamarind and green chutneys in each.
- Sprinkle some chaat masala and red chili powder on it.
- Sprinkle finely chopped onions.
- Again sprinkle some chaat masala.
- Then sprinkle sev all over the puris.
- Add a dash of lemon juice to the sev puri.
- Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve immediately otherwise papdi will be soft because of lemon juice.
