Stuffed Bread Pakodra
Bread pakora recipe is a very popular, easy and quick recipe. It is a breakfast and evening snack recipe. There are two different ways of making bread pakora, one is plain bread pakora and other is stuffed bread pakora. Today we will make Stuffed Bread Pakoda.

Ingredients for Stuffing:
- Potatoes boiled and mashed - 2 medium
- Onion - 1 small finely chopped
- Green chilli - 1 finely chopped
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
- Ginger - 1/2 inch grated
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp finely chopped
- Salt - to taste
Ingredients for the outer covering:
- Gram flour (besan) - 1 1/2 cups
- Salt - to taste
- Hing - a pinch
- Carom seeds (ajwain) - 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
- Amchur powder - 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala powder - less than 1/4 tsp
- Oil - for deep frying
- Water - for batter
- Brown or White Bread - 7 slices
Method
Preparing the Potato Stuffing:
- Take a big bowl, add potatoes, onions, salt, green chillies, coriander powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, ginger, garam masala and coriander leaves and mix well.
Preparing the Besan Batter:
- Take a another bowl and add gram flour, salt, hing, ajwain, red chilli powder, amchur powder, garam masala powder and mix well.
- Add little bit of water slowly to make a thick batter.
Frying the Bread Pakora:
- Cut the bread into any shape like rectangular, square, triangle or circular.
- Spread the potato mixture on one side of the bread and cover this potato stuffed slice with another slice.
- Heat oil in a pan and dip the entire stuffed slice in the batter and coat both the sides.
- Deep fry till golden brown over medium flame.
- Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup, tamarind chutney or green chutney.
